[Background]
Have a lot to read here

[Personality]
Elena is a pretty friendly person. She's easily likeable, she's tough and independent, and she's rather trusting of others. It takes a lot for her to think harshly about people, for she's willing to give second chances, such as with Harry. She was willing to forgive him and help him, even when he was an enemy. It is possible for her to dislike people, though. Her and Drake didn't get along very well at first (mostly because he ditched her), and neither did her and Chloe. Her dislike for Chloe started more as jealousy, but Chloe's willingness to leave Jeff behind when he was injured turned her against the female, to the point she was willing to leave her behind. Eventually they bond, though, showing that it's hard for her to dislike people for long.

Besides the few times she doesn't like someone, she isn't always overly friendly. She knows when to be serious, but she's also not afraid to tell someone what's on her mind, especially when that someone is Nate. But when needed, she can be very supportive. She pokes Nate in the right direction multiple times, giving him encouragement to help him along. She's also not afraid to joke around, again showing her fun and friendly side.

She can be rather stubborn at times, or really, most of the time. This was shown big time in the first game when Nate left her behind, only for her to follow him anyway. She constantly rushed into the danger with him, even when he told her to hang back and let him handle things. She even saved his butt a couple of times.

She's definitely smart and a quick learner. She's fond of history, knowing a good chunk of what Nate actually rambles about. She's insightful, too, picking up on the clues and not just following along for the adventure, but solving the puzzles along with Nate. She has her own TV show, too, showing that she actually does like history, but also an keen interest on solving the puzzles of the past. She even knows multiple languages, such as Tibetan and Arabic.

Between the first and second games, Elena also matures in several ways. Firstly, in her career. When Nate first met her, she was just a tabloid reporter, even though she had her own reality TV show. Between the passing time, she moved up to actual, real journalism, taking her into many dangerous places. Through this, as well as from her first adventure with Nate, she learned how to approach dangerous situations, so by the second game, she isn't quite so fast to jump into things. She thinks things through a little more, taking her time if she can.

[Abilities]
Elena doesn't have any overly special abilities, but she's pretty handy with a gun. She agile enough to follow Nate on his crazy adventures, but also smart enough to keep up with the historical aspects and even outsmart Drake several times.

[Other important stuff]
She just got exploded on, so she's in pretty bad shape.

[Sample post]
[First Person]

- What were you doing before now?

Uh, pretty much the same thing I'm doing right now. [Don't mind her, she's kind of in pain.]

- Someone comes to you to ask for the time. How would you respond?

I give it to them? I don't see the point of this question.

- Do you stand up against authority, go against all odds, and if you could, pierce the heavens with your fighting spirit? If not, would you if you could?

Well, I wouldn't use those words, but I'm a journalist. It's kind of in the job description to dig up the truth on authority figures.

- Murder. What is your opinion?

It's not something I like, but you try having this debate when people are running at you with guns.

- If you could change your current lifestyle or job career, what would it be?

Give up journalism? No way. The treasure hunting I think I could do without, though.

- Am I asking too many personal or strange questions?

Just a bit. I mean, hey, I get it. That's kind of the point when doing an interview.

[Third Person]

It had been about a week since Elena had woken up in Somarium, along side Nate and Chloe, and in just as much pain as she was before. In the week since, she definitely felt better, but she was restless. She wasn't one to sit still for long, and being confined to anything didn't make her happy, even if Nate was pampering her.

A week was surely long enough for her to get out and about, right? She didn't know if she could stand this much longer, especially since she was in a strange and foreign place.

She had heard all about Somarium. Nate and Chloe had filled her in, but she wanted to see it herself. She just wanted to get out of this freaking bed, leave the freaking house. She had always liked seeing new places, a perk that came with her job and being friends with Nate, so naturally she wanted to explore. She couldn't imagine the history in a world of dreams, especially when everyone came from different places. She wanted to hear these stories, she wanted to learn about everything.

And she was sure she would do it. With her friends not around, Elena chanced getting up on her own. She moved closer to the edge of the bed, slowly swinging her legs over the side, taking her time. There was pain as she moved, there was always pain, but she ignored it. It wasn't anything like it used to be, and she was too determined to otherwise care.

One leg became two, and she placed her feet on the ground. She simply sat there for a moment, her head pounding, her blood pressure dropping from the new change. She wasn't getting up enough, she could have told anyone that, and her body's reaction proved that. But once her mind finally cleared, she used a near by chair as something to pull on, easing her way up, making it on to her feet.

She felt her legs shaking under her weight. They weren't ready for this, but she was. Or at least, she wanted to be. It was as she was moving to take a step that her legs gave out and she fell to the ground. Pain flooded her body and she cursed under her breath. She wouldn't accept this, though. She'd be damned if she let her body stop her. She'd be walking on her own in no time, no matter what anybody said.
